Pre-Existing Conditions & Service Acknowledgment

At Call Larry: Floor Care, we use professional, industry-standard methods to clean carpets, rugs, and hard surface flooring.

Customers should understand that cleaning can sometimes reveal existing wear, damage, or conditions that were already present but hidden by dirt, residue, or prior treatments.

Acknowledgment of Pre-Existing Conditions

Customer acknowledges that carpet, rugs, and hard surface flooring, including tile, grout, stone, LVP/LVT, laminate, hardwood, VCT, and other resilient flooring, may have pre-existing conditions. These may include, but are not limited to, wear, fading, discoloration, shading, traffic lanes, rippling, buckling, loose tiles or planks, pet damage, stains, odors, residue from previous cleaning products, or installation or manufacturing defects.

These conditions are not caused by cleaning, but may become more noticeable after professional service is performed.

What We Are Not Responsible For

Call Larry: Floor Care is not responsible for:

• Any pre-existing damage, wear, fading, or installation issues
• Stains or odors that cannot be fully removed
• Issues caused by prior cleaning, spot treatments, sealers, coatings, or over-the-counter products
• Temporary appearance changes while carpets or floors are drying
• Cleaning results can vary based on flooring type, age, wear, prior maintenance, and conditions outside our control.

Limited Liability

If Call Larry: Floor Care is found legally responsible for damage directly caused by our service, our liability is limited to the lesser of:

• The cost to repair or replace the affected area, or
• The amount paid for the specific service performed
• We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of use, business interruption, or additional expenses.

No Guarantee of Results

Customer understands that no guarantees are made regarding complete stain or odor removal, uniform appearance, or prevention of shading, pooling, or traffic patterns.

Professional cleaning improves appearance and hygiene but cannot reverse permanent damage or wear.

Customer Acknowledgment (No Signature Required)

By scheduling service, approving an estimate, allowing work to begin, or submitting payment, Customer confirms that they have read, understand, and agree to the terms above prior to service being performed.
